Software providers in multi-channel slots deal
Genesis Gaming and Relax Gaming will provide online and mobile games simultaneously to casino operators
Genesis Gaming and Relax Gaming have announced a strategic partnership in what the software providers claim is the industry’s first development and delivery combination.
The two companies will supply multi-channel video slot games on both online and mobile simultaneously to online casino operators, in an effort to offer both greater marketing and operations efficiency.
The deal will see Genesis deliver its catalogue of video slot games while Alderney-licensed Relax Gaming, which launched its first bingo product last October, will provide operators with a casino platform capable of multi-channel delivery.
Patrik ÃsterÃ¥ker, CEO of Relax Gaming, said the Alderney-licensed company was “excited” to be working with Genesis and believes the two firms “complement each other perfectly”.
“Opening up our platform was a natural development for us and together we can offer ways for operators to diversify in the challenging casino market,” ÃsterÃ¥ker added.
The first game to be released on both HTML5 mobile and desktop Flash is East of the Sun, West of the Moon, a 25-line five-reel video slot game, with three symbols on each reel.
Unibet will be the first to launch the game this week which Daniel Eskola, Unibet’s head of games, believes will “strengthen” the operator’s position in the mobile casino space. “We are confident that the Genesis games will be well received by our players,” he added.
The Swedish-listed operator partnered with NYX Interactive earlier this month to incorporate the supplier’s game content within its online casino gaming suite.
