Poll results: Single sign-in to boost mobile revenues
Latest eGR poll shows readers believe a seamless login will see an increase in mobile gaming revenues
A seamless login function between mobile apps will lead to a growth in mobile gaming revenues, according to 89% of respondents to eGaming Review’s latest poll.
Earlier last week, Israeli software provider Playtech announced the launch of a single login across its sports betting and casino apps with Coral already live on the new mobile gaming platform.
CEO Mor Weizer labelled its B2B mobile arm Mobenga’s single sign-on feature as “the future” and would enable operators to cross-sell customers from sportsbook into other lucrative verticals.
With this in mind, this week we asked readers whether the roll-out of a single sign-in from the major operators will cause a major uplift in mobile gaming revenues.
A huge majority of respondents (89%) believe a seamless login function between mobile apps will indeed lead to some sort of revenue growth and only 11% said it will have little to no impact.
However, readers were split as to whether this trend within the space will be a complete game changer with 42% of respondents claiming it would lead to substantial growth whilst 47% said it would only lead to a modest uplift.
Coral is not the only operator to have this technology at its disposal. In August, Sky Betting and Gaming released an updated version of the Sky Bet app which included seamless login between Sky Bet and Sky Vegas.
