Paddy’s revamped social sportsbook imminent
Newly-named Paddy Power Social to include additional social features and redesign following full launch
A revamped version of Paddy Power’s real-money social sports betting app is set to get a full launch within two weeks complete with a new title and features, eGaming Review can reveal.
The real-money Facebook app has been renamed Paddy Power Social, previously Paddy Power In-Play, and includes a redesigned landing page and new ‘thumbs up’ logo, similar to the Facebook ‘like’ button.
The updated version of the app, seen by eGR, features additional social interaction tools enabling users to follow, copy bets, laugh at bets, leave comments and console players after losing bets.
Additional social features include trophy awards, leaderboards, a news feed, chat and a heat index which displays how friends have been performing.
Bwin.party extends Dragonfish bingo agreement
Bwin.party has quashed rumours of a split from 888 B2B arm Dragonfish after signing a new deal for its UK bingo brands, including Foxy Bingo and Cheeky Bingo, to remain on the Dragonfish platform for the next four years.
The contract extension comes after weeks of negotiations with the current agreement due to expire this month and bwin.party, through its wholly-owned bingo subsidiary Cashcade, keen to secure an improved deal.
In March, bwin.party revealed it was to consider whether it should migrate customers on to its own proprietary platform or extend the agreement with 888 under revised terms.

32Red overhauls sportsbook with Kambi deal
32Red has signed a deal with Kambi Sports Solutions in a move which will see the operator’s sportsbook receive a major pre-World Cup revamp.
The deal will see B2B supplier Kambi take control of 32Red’s sports betting vertical with the product expected to be available both online and on mobile in time for the 12 June kick-off.
Kambi will integrate its sportsbook solution with 32Red’s Microgaming platform to enable players to move seamlessly between casino and sports.
Betfair adds Ukash payments portfolio
Betfair has incorporated Ukash’s voucher-based payment processing service into its desktop and mobile gambling sites.
The system has been added today with Betfair allowing customers to make both deposits and withdrawals using vouchers that are bought from shops throughout the UK.
The vouchers come with a unique 19-digit code which can then be used to credit an account with the system working in reverse for cash withdrawals, however customers wishing to use the system will be required to pass an identity verification process beforehand.
European heavyweights sign Bettorlogic deals
Bettorlogic has pulled off a coup with BetClic Everest, Betsson and bwin.party all signing deals to receive the supplier’s Livelogic in-play solution.
Livelogic provides operators with in-play updates which react to match situations to suggest a wide range of related bets.
BetClic Everest and bwin.party will use the solution for football, tennis and NFL markets, while Betsson’s deal will initially focus solely on football.
NetPlay TV extends Big Brother sponsorship deal
NetPlay TV has announced that its brand SuperCasino.com will be the headline sponsor of both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother for a second consecutive year.
Big Brother will air every night on Channel 5 from June, which will be followed by Celebrity Big Brother with SuperCasino.com branded bumpers shown from 9pm onwards on all coverage including all Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother support programming, online and video on demand. A full social media campaign will complement the sponsorship throughout the period.
Medialivecasino signs Hit Group deal
Medialivecasino has signed a deal to provide the casino firm Hit Group with live roulette products filmed directly from Perla, Casino & Hotel in Slovakia.
The games, due for launch in June, will appear on Hitstars.it enabling customers to participate in the game from their own home.
