Gaming Realms launches new online casino
Spin Genie the first brand to launch on the AIM-listed gaming group’s new proprietary gaming platform
Gaming Realms has launched its first brand on the firm’s new real-money proprietary gaming platform which will be backed with an “aggressive” digital and TV marketing spend.
Spin Genie, which was soft-launched on desktop last month and on mobile yesterday, takes elements of social gaming by allowing players to gain access to new levels once a set amount of points are achieved.
Marketing of the brand will be ramped up next month, prior to an extensive campaign in Q1 2015, which Gaming Realms’ recently appointed casino director Jonny Bennett, told eGR would include an “aggressive online and offline” spend.
“[It] is the first brand to launch on Gaming Realms’ brand new real money proprietary platform [so] it’s hugely important and will be a showcase of the hard work that has gone into developing it,” Bennett said.

Ladbrokes has become the first real-money operator to sign a deal with recently launched social betting network Betfect.
Betfect, which was launched at the end of September, seeks to combine sports betting and social networking into a single platform and allows users to follow tipsters and place bets through partner bookmakers.
Players are able to login via Facebook or through their Ladbrokes account by syncing it with their Betfect login, and can interact with other users or follow top bettors and share bets placed on other social networks.
Senet Group plots major TV campaign
The Senet Group is set to launch a “major” television campaign in January next year and has shortlisted three creative agencies to design and organise its advertising push.

Following the appointment, a “major” advertising campaign is to be launched early next year which will incorporate adverts on national television as well as other media, however details have yet to be confirmed.
Tipp24 to rebrand as Zeal Network
London-based lottery operator Tipp24 is set to rename as Zeal Network to reflect a series of changes the firm has made to its “wider strategic focus”.
The firm has called an Extraordinary General Meeting for 19 November with the sole purpose of renaming the business and, should a majority of shareholders approve the proposal, the new title would come into effect within a few days.
“Renaming the company Zeal is the next logical step for our business: it reflects the broader focus of our company and it captures perfectly our aspiration to create a better world of lottery,” Hans Cornehl, CEO at Tipp24, said.
Rank Group integrates SafeCharge payment solutions
The Rank Group has integrated the SafeCharge payment technology platform into its desktop sites and mobile apps across its Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casino brands.
Customers of its UK-facing sites will now be able to deposit and withdraw funds through the SafeCharge platform, while the payments firm has also provided Rank with a number of risk management and anti-fraud solutions.
Rank said it had opted for the payments provider after identifying a need to improve its user experience in relation to online payments, which had been limited to traditional card payments, PayPal and Ukash.
