Betsson pushes personalisation with new sportsbook
Product focuses on customisable features as operator promises “much more to come”
Betsson has rolled out a new customisable sportsbook as the operator looks to provide a more personal sports betting experience.
The new sportsbook enables users to create a personal lobby where up to 20 favourite leagues and markets can be saved, with the operator promising customers will “only see what [they] want to see”.
It will also incorporate more data, with the operator giving users easier access to statistics and recent results.
And there has also been improvements to the sportsbook’s search functionality, as well as a new consolidated open bets tab.
Ladbrokes introduces gamification reward system
Ladbrokes’ gaming division is trialling a new innovative customer rewards system which the firm says will increase retention and drive repeat play.
Labelled ‘Ladbrokes Life Adventure’, the rewards scheme will see customers collect coins each time they play casino games with the accumulated coins then able to be traded for scratchcards.
Each scratchcard comes with a guaranteed cash prize and the firm said if the scheme proved to be a success it would be rolled out across other products such as sportsbook, bingo and poker.

Sky Betting & Gaming invests £11m in major recruitment drive
Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has announced plans to invest £11m into a major recruitment drive which will see company headcount increase by 200 and the opening of a new customer services hub in Leeds.
The expansive plans will be backed by a £250,000 marketing campaign with the new roles to be split across its technology and customer services teams, with half of all new hires to work out of the operator’s recently opened tech office in Sheffield.
Following the hires, which are expected to be finalised within the coming financial year, SB&G’s headcount will reach approximately 900 people across its three Yorkshire-based offices.
Tabcorp and Tatts Group end $9bn merger talks
Australian operators Tabcorp and Tatts Group have announced talks over a AU$9bn (£4.2bn) merger had come to an end after the two companies were unable to agree “mutually acceptable terms”.
The operators were believed to be in advanced discussions to create a new Australian wagering powerhouse designed to take on some of the large-scale foreign-owned operators including Sportsbet and William Hill.
“There are no further discussions taking place between the parties relating to a merger or any other form of corporate transaction,” Tabcorp said in a statement this morning.
Full Tilt gets green light for eSports launch
Full Tilt Poker will launch on the Steam gaming platform before the end of the year following a successful trial period as the operator targets the 125 million eSports players who use the platform.
As reported in October, Full Tilt submitted its free-to-play client to Steam’s Greenlight process last month, where users voted to decide whether to make it a permanent addition.
Now the firm has said it received thousands of votes during the process, meaning a full launch on Steam should go live by the end of the year.
Senet Group focuses online as new campaign launches
The Senet Group is in advanced discussions with a major online operator about joining the self-regulatory industry body, eGaming Review understands.
Speaking at the launch of the group’s new social media-focused campaign, Senet’s chair and independent standards commissioner Wanda Goldwag said there was a need for more “joined up thinking” when it came to online.
“We are also turning increasingly to look at online gambling,” Goldwag said. “We intend to work with our members on how they can best identify potential problem gamblers from their data and find ways to warn those people to stop or take a break.
Evolution Gaming invests 12.4m in office expansion
Evolution Gaming has spent 12.4m on acquiring additional office space for its rapidly expanding business, the live casino supplier has announced.
The firm has acquired the company that owns the building which accommodates the majority of its operations in Riga, Latvia, where it has been a tenant since 2011.
Evolution said the need to expand the studio floor over the coming years was large, and that the landlord was unable to provide guarantees for further expansion.
