Kambi partners Novomatic for government lotteries play
Suppliers will integrate products to provide combined sports and lottery service to state-owned lottery companies
Kambi and Novomatic have struck a deal which will see the two suppliers join forces to target state-owned lotteries.
According to a memorandum of understanding signed by the firms, Novomatic Lottery Solutions (NLS) will integrate Kambi’s sports betting service to provide a more complete offer to government-owned entities.
This service, which will be debuted at the World Lottery Summit in Singapore next month, will be co-branded and marketed as ‘NLS Sports Betting – Powered by Kambi’.
Kambi CEO Kristian Nylen said he was excited by the opportunities the combination could bring.
“The co-branded service will offer a modern best-in-class solution, creating a competitive service giving government regulated lotteries the possibility to make a leap, especially in interactive gaming across all verticals,” he said.
NLS chief exec Frank Cecchini added: “This alliance is a part of our ‘best of breed’ philosophy where combining two modern systems, deploying state-of-the-art technologies while exercising the inherent expertise of each, delivers world beating performance in highly competitive markets.”
The agreement is the latest in a string of deals for Kambi during 2016 having signed up LeoVegas, Mr Green and Rank Group earlier in the year.
