Mr Green selects Kambi for sportsbook launch
Operator says Stockholm-listed supplier won the deal on the strength of its in-play offering
Mr Green has selected Kambi to provide its online sportsbook, the companies announced this morning.
The deal is for a fully managed sportsbook, which is scheduled to be live by “autumn at the latest”.
Mr Green’s recently installed CEO Jesper K?rrbrink said Kambi had been chosen because of the quality of its in-play betting products.
“This is a steadily growing segment and a key factor for success for Mr Green,” K?rrbrink said.
“We feel that the Kambi sportsbook has strong focus on quality in terms of availability and reliability, while not sacrificing the quantity aspect. It delivers top of the line live betting across a large selection of sports,” he added.
Mr Green first announced its intention to launch a sportsbook back in February, promising to do it properly rather than rushing it in time for the Euros, and it is still unclear whether the product will be live before the tournament kicks off on 6 June.
Kambi already has experience helping an online casino branch into the sportsbook space following its partnership with LeoVegas earlier this year. Its other clients include Unibet, 888 and Paf while it is also set to go live with Rank’s Grosvenor brand shortly.
“We are looking forward to empowering Mr Green to create a personalised sports betting experience for their customer base,” Kristian Nyl?n, Kambi CEO, said.
“Mr Green is very well positioned in a number of interesting geographies and we are looking forward to working together in these markets.”
Mr Green will be encouraged by results from another Nordic online casino which recently launched an add-on sportsbook of its own. CherryCasino said it saw major boosts in time on-site and gaming volumes, just one month after launching an SBTech-powered sportsbook.
