Genting Casinos buys London's Fox Poker Club
Poker-specific venue in London's West End holds 24-hour licence.
Genting Casinos has been announced as the new owner of the Fox Poker Club in London’s West End.
The venue, on Shaftesbury Avenue, claims to be London’s only poker-specific venue, opened in September 2010 and received its 24hour licence earlier this year.
A spokesman for Genting Casinos told eGaming Review: “There will be no changes to the operation of the club in the immediate future.”
It currently remains unclear whether partnerships with PKR – such as last year’s London Calling live poker festival – will be renewed following the purchase.
Fox Poker club managing director Chris North said: “The club is in a great position to continue growing and we are very pleased that it is passing to such good hands. We wish the club and Genting all the success in the future.”
