GameAccount signs Reel Time Gaming deal
UK software developer to distribute land-based developer's slot games to regulated EU egaming markets
Gaming software supplier GameAccount Network has partnered with land-based slot games developer Reel Time Gaming in a multi-year deal.
Brisbane-based Reel Time Gaming is best known for its slot games such as ‘Eye of Horus’, popular in the German land-based market, and will provide games through GameAccount’s Internet Gaming System to operators in regulated European markets including Italy and the UK.
GameAccount Network CEO Dermot Smurfit said the deal was in line with the firm’s mission to enable land-based casino slot manufacturers to “swiftly move online” in regulated markets in Europe and North America.
“We are delighted to welcome Reel Time Gaming as a content partner within GameAccount Network, and we look forward to bringing high quality facsimiles of their compelling machine-based games online and distributing them into regulated Internet gaming markets such as Italy and the UK and, in due course, Spain and New Jersey,” Smurfit added.
GameAccount Network has posted strong results from its Italian activities after being one of the first software providers to go live with online slots in the dot.it market. According to the firm’s Q1 2013 results, it saw active casino players in the Italian market grow by some 110% compared to Q4 of 2012, with the authorisation of online slots in December 2012 playing a role.
Managing director of Reel Time Games Martin Visocnik added that his company was “delighted” to be working with GameAccount, which he believes is a “viable low-cost alternative” to bringing its casino slot games online.
“Regulation has only begun to reshape the landscape of internet gaming and we’re confident that our content, online within GameAccount Network’s Internet Gaming System, will benefit greatly from their distribution reach into fast growing regulated casino slot gaming markets such as Italy,” he said.
The news follows the partnership signed earlier this month between Betfair and Trump Plaza, as part of which GameAccount will provide casino software.
