BetVictor to launch new Asian venture with ONEworks
New VC+ brand launches Chinese-facing site with Isle of Man-licensed platform provider.
Gibraltar-licensed operator BetVictor has taken on ONEworks’ sportsbook platform for its newly launched Asian brand, VC+.
It is one of a number of Asian-facing sportsbooks to incorporate the platform from the Isle of Man-licensed provider, with others including 12Bet and Bodog88.
The announcement comes just one week after eGR revealed that BetVictor has signed an exclusive deal with Microgaming for its dot.com poker offering.
Poker is not one of the products featured on its new Chinese and English-language xinweide.com site, predominantly targeted at the Chinese egaming market.
However the ONEworks sportsbook is complemented by a suite of casino games including baccarat and blackjack. The operator is using HoGaming’s live dealer casino and Chartwell’s RNG casino, both integrated with BetVictor’s in-house account management system.
ONEworks business development director Tom Hall said: “ONEworks, with our proven pedigree and years of experience in providing Asian Sportsbook to major Asian operators, will prove to be invaluable to Bet Victor’s plans for further establishing their foothold in Asia.”
BetVictor CEO Michael Carlton explained that the company, which also hopes to launch a mobile casino and sportsbook for the Asian market, will now be able to offer “a massive range of events and markets to our players in Asia”.
“We believe that this integration will greatly enhance the betting experience that we provide to our Asian customers and it is a significant step forward for our business as a whole,” he added.
The agreement with ONEworks comes just two weeks after BetVictor agreed to acquire trading solutions business Botsphere for an undisclosed amount in a deal which it revealed allows it to “Deliver complete automated trading solutions across a number of mainstream sports over the next two years.”
