888 strikes NYX Gaming content deal
Operator will integrate the supplier's open game system into its B2C casino and bingo sites
888 has struck a deal with NYX Gaming to integrate the supplier’s portfolio of desktop and mobile games into its B2B casino and bingo sites, as well as its B2B Dragonfish platform.
The deal will give 888 players access to hundreds of proprietary and third party titles from the NYX catalogue, including Big Foot, Wildcat Canyon and James Dean.
Head of Dragonfish Yaniv Schwartz said the deal will enable the operator to offer an “even wider and exciting” content portfolio to its customers.
“NYX will enable our partners to create an engaging and customized offering for their players across the Dragonfish mobile and PC innovative products,” Schwartz added.
The deal is the second announced by NYX in as many days after revealing yesterday it had signed a head of terms agreement with Paddy Power.
“NYX boast the widest distribution network of real money wagering slots games in the online marketplace; the 888 integration is a natural progression with one of our closest partners,” David Johnson, NYX commercial director, said.
Yesterday, NYX also announced the acquisition of the Montreal-based Side City development studio in a deal worth around CA$5m (£2.4m), should performance targets be met.
NYX will pay an initial 333,000 ordinary shares for Side City, valued at current prices at CA$930,000, with a further CA$4m in cash conditional on performance criteria through 2016 and 2017.
Side City produces gaming art, animations, audio and mathematical models for both land-based and online game manufacturers.
