A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including 666Bet and Oddschecker
Sports comparison site OddscheckerTV has launched its new advertising campaign in partnership with creative agency Fold7.
The BSkyB-owned affiliate debuted the new advert on Sky Sports over the weekend, running until the end of November, and and positions Oddschecker as a site where ‘the bookmakers compete for you’.
Oddschecker unveiled its first media campaign in partnership with Home earlier this year which Lulham said showed the benefits of paid-for media to enhance the brand.
Gaming technology provider Genii has become the latest recipient of a Class 4 remote gaming licence from the Lotteries & Gaming Authority in Malta.
Genii currently has a portfolio of 125 online casino games across all platforms and received its licence earlier this month.
“It’s been a long road, but we’re over the moon that we’ve now got our Class 4 licence from the LGA and are live with our first operator,” Dinesh Choudree, CEO of Genii, said.
“The casino supplier market is clearly very competitive but we are confident that we have a significant differentiation from the other suppliers out there,” he added.
Online bookmaker 666Bet is to sponsor Olympic gold medallist Anthony Joshua’s first title fight against Dennis Bakhtov.
The fight will take place next month at London’s O2 Arena and will see the operator’s logo displayed around the ring as well as on all event artwork and backdrops.
“After our first taste of boxing, sponsoring July’s ‘Fight For The Right’ event in Manchester, we were really keen to support another sensational boxing card,” Barry Martin, CEO of 666Bet.com, said.
“We’re extremely excited to bring fans Anthony Joshua’s first ever title fight, a match-up which could prove to be historic in the context of this young heavyweight prospect’s career,” he added.
Bitcoin sportsbook and casino site Cloudbet has announced the launch of its new bitcoin sports betting product designed for mobile and tablet devices.
The mobile sportsbook is available on iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows devices and features a range of betting markets including 1×2, handicaps and money lines.
“We have focused on the fact that sports fans like to watch a game and place live bets on the move from a mobile device whether it be from a bar, a friend’s couch, or even inside the stadium,” Dennis Laudrup, Cloudbet’s head of marketing, said.
“Our development and design team has put a lot of work into making this truly the best mobile book out there, and we’re sure that customers will notice the difference,” he added.
Online games provider World Match has launched its latest slots title Bounty Bandits HD.
The firm’s latest game combines 3D animations and HD graphics and features a new toolbar to increase usability.
Additional features include autoplay, fast play, spin stop and connection with popular social networks.
Bwin.party has launched a statistics-based football app called bwin Trends, its first non-gambling app for the bwin sports betting brand.
Launched last weekend, bwin Trends asks users to set alerts for their favourite teams or specific fixtures before sending frequent updates using the app’s push messaging capabilities.
Customers are alerted 20 minutes before kick-off and throughout the game the app with ‘trends’ that suggest certain bets for customers to take advantage of.
UK bookmaker Ladbrokes released a Ryder Cup-themed update to its mobile sportsbook this week ahead of the start of the tournament .
The update has added a Ryder Cup page to the sportsbook, featuring a dedicated live score centre and various tournament betting markets.
The page comprises a top banner displaying the total tournament score followed by outright and specials markets, with competition match-ups and their respective prices listed below.
Land-based casino operator Boyd Gaming has launched a mobile sports wagering app to players in the state of Nevada.
The application, B Connected Sports, allows players to check odds and place real-money sports wagers on college and professional games.
The application is available on Android and iOS mobile and tablet devices, and can be downloaded in Apple’s App store and through the BConnectedSports.com site.
Real Gaming has completed its soft-launch phase in Nevada, becoming the third operator to offer real-money online poker to players in the state alongside Ultimate Gaming and Caesars Interactive.
Real Gaming, which was rebranded from South Point Poker in 2013, was the first operator to receive an interactive gaming license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
However, the operator delayed its launch in order to build its real-money poker platform in-house from the ground up under the watchful eye of 29-year-old founder Lawrence Vaughan.
GeoComply has signed a deal to provide mobile sports wagering software supplier Metric Gaming with its geolocation solution in regulated North American markets.
The deal sees GeoComply supply a mobile sports wagering platform for the first time, having already established itself as a market leader in New Jersey where it suppliers all of the online operators in the state.

Paddy Power has unveiled a range of new features to its real-money sports betting product on Facebook ahead of an expected mobile launch in November.
Paddy Power Social has been revamped with a new meta-feature Power Points which enables players to place bets, earn points and unlock free bets when a certain targets are achieved.
The Facebook app also includes a new Bet Chat function through which customers can talk about the latest sports news and betting tips, as well as create individual chat rooms for friends.
