BetVictor rolls out Chelsea FC slots game

BetVictor has launched a slots game based on Chelsea Football Club as part of the operator’s plan to offer an increased amount of exclusive gaming content.

The game, which has been developed by Realistic Games, features some of the club’s top players and a soundtrack aimed at recreating the atmosphere at its Stamford Bridge ground.

The slots game strengthens ties between BetVictor and Chelsea after the operator signed a deal to become the club’s global betting partner earlier this year.

BetVictor chief operating officer Paul Louis said the project had been a success and the firm planned to roll out more exclusive content next year.

“Our thanks go to Realistic and Chelsea FC in enabling us to create an engaging slot that we think our customers will enjoy regardless of whether they’re a Chelsea fan or not,” Louis said.

Andy Harris, commercial director at Realistic Games, said the supplier was excited to take part in the project and had been encouraged by its reception.

“BetVictor and Chelsea have been great to work with on the project which is a real game-changer for branded slot content and we are very confident that it will be a winner for both of them,” Harris said.

But it is not the first time a sportsbook operator and football club have joined forces, with bwin having launched a dedicated Manchester United casino last year.

However bwin pulled down the shutters on the app after it was dropped as Manchester United’s official betting partner, with CEO Norbert Teufelberger saying it had failed to gain much traction.
