The revenue spurt led to adjusted EBITDA of $49m for the 12 months period ended 31 December 2015, almost double (up 96%) on the $25m generated the previous year.
The supplier giant also broke out revenues for the fourth quarter, with revenues up 40% to $60.3m leading to EBITDA of $13.5m for the three month period.
Its social casino business, including Bally subsidiary Dragonplay, was the driving force behind revenues, with real-money gaming accounting for $8.4m of the total, albeit up 56% YoY.
Monthly active users were up 13% YoY to 8.1 million while daily active users increased 28% to 2.3 million. Revenue per daily active user was $0.22.
The firm said EBITDA growth was driven by improved operating leverage from its legacy interactive business, integration cost synergies, and $2.4m less employee termination and restructuring costs.
During the quarter, SciGames entered into three new agreements to deploy its SG Universe product, and launched its Play4Fun Network with 10 new operators.
The supplier also extended its RMG business, launching with five additional online casinos including for the William Hill Macau-themed site.
â2015 was a transformational year for Scientific Games, culminating in a strong finish for our fourth quarter operating results,” CEO Gavin Isaacs, said.
âMoving forward, we will remain diligent in reviewing our operational practices to identify additional opportunities for continuous improvement and to drive shareholder value,â he added.
Scientific Games recorded total full year revenues of $737m, up 30% year on year, leading to EBITDA of $293m and an operating loss of $54.4m.
