Betfair Casino to launch New Jersey live dealer product
Operator to go live in April, utilising Golden Nugget’s existing studio
Betfair Casino will launch a live dealer product into New Jersey in April, EGR North America can reveal.
Betfair becomes the second brand in the market to offer live casino, and will use the same studio as the Golden Nugget, which is provided by Ezugi.
The product will be available on desktop and mobile and will launch with two blackjack tables, one roulette wheel and one Baccarat table.
The initial opening hours will be from 3pm – 3am, seven days a week.
“New and exciting game content is key to success in New Jersey,” Lorcan Kelly, director of Betfair Casino in New Jersey, told EGR NA.
“We feel live dealer will bring a number of benefits, including a unique and differentiated product offering and improved acquisition numbers thanks to a product that appeals to new demographics.
“It also helps to drive revenues with little cannibalisation of current online customers and reinforce our image as a trusted brand in the marketplace.”
The live dealer studio, built inside the Golden Nugget Atlantic City, is scheduled to be expanded in the summer, after the operator reported a high demand for its live products.
The operator’s SVP of online gaming Thomas Winter told EGR NA recently live dealer had helped generate unprecedented levels of customer acquisition, with the platform eventually expected to account for up to 15% of revenues.
