Paddy Power unveils Grand National Facebook chatbot
Operator offers punters a “bit of fun” via new Messenger bot ahead of weekend races
Paddy Power has today launched an experimental Facebook Messenger chatbot that takes Grand National fans through an interactive imaginary day at the races.
The Grand National Survival chat offers up a series of tongue-in-cheek scenarios allowing users to respond and follow the story. The chat is linked to the operator’s betting site.
Paddy Power made its Facebook Messenger debut earlier this week with the launch of their ‘virtual Paddy’ chat, offering players real time football and racing news and the ability to request prices on upcoming events.
Free games and daily entertainment videos are also available through the chat. Fans can set up push notifications for both sports through the Messenger chat service.
The Dublin based operator called it “a one-stop shop for betting AND entertainment”.
In December Tangelo launched their own Facebook chatbot for its casino platform. Meanwhile Sky Bet unveiled its own chatbot, instead to be used in the recruitment process.
