The French Government-owned Française des Jeux (FDJ) continued the implementation of its ‘FDJ 2020’ strategy this year with the investment of €100m in its “digital transformation”, including new online lottery games and platform improvements. The strategy paid off in a big way, with digital sales up 19% to €570m in 2015 – equivalent of 4.1% of overall sales with the firm targeting 5%-plus this year.
