Win launches first real-money slots game
Bwin.party-subsidiary debuts real-money version of social casino game Teddy Pets on bwin.com and partycasino.com
Bwin.party’s social gaming arm Win has announced the launch of its first real-money slots game on two of the operator’s main desktop sites.
Teddy Pets is Win’s most popular slots title on its Slots Craze app and is now available on bwin.com and partycasino.com in the UK with plans to roll-out the game on a country-by-country basis in Europe.
The slots title was previously available as a free-to-play game on Facebook and iOS and the social games company said it will launch more real-money enabled games in the near future.
“This represents an important leap forwards towards making our games available to as many players as possible,” Barak Rabinowitz, CEO of Win, said.
“It is especially fulfilling to work with bwin.party on this important initiative, combining our unique resources to break new ground in the global egaming industry,” he added.
Bwin.party’s group director for games Golan Shaked said the London-listed company was bullish about the prospects of its social gaming business as the launch of Sportster “ Bet and Win nears.
“We are utilising all of our assets to deliver a consistent, high quality gaming experience across multiple platforms and gaming environments,” Shaked said.
“We are beginning to see an encouraging correlation develop between social and real money play on our leading labels such as Cheeky Bingo,” he added.
Win recently beta-launched its social sports betting product Sportster “ Bet and Win in partnership with Serbia-based Top Eleven developer Nordeus and eGR understands a full-launch is slated for July.
The game allows players to bet on both real and virtual football matches involving leading European football teams in order to collect ‘cash winnings’ and tokens.
Users stake a virtual currency on a variety of markets, while tokens are collected after passing certain milestones and used to gain extra currency and to purchase ‘wildcards’ that are used to provide in-bet cash-out bonuses.
