William Hill releases darts betting app
Release of iPad and iPhone app timed to coincide with PDC World Championship, which Hills is sponsoring
William Hill has released a new darts betting app ahead of the PDC World Championships event it is sponsoring, which got underway yesterday evening.
The iPhone and iPad-optimised app, released on Apple’s App Store earlier this week, allows customers to bet in-play and a total of 26 betting markets are to be offered on each match.
The app also includes live match simulations of each tie, while player statistics and tournament results are made available through specific tabs on the app’s front page.
Existing William Hill customers are able to access their account and balances by logging in using their log in details, while the app also has a new registration page for those yet to open up a William Hill account.
“I think we’ve hit the bullseye with this app and believe it will be a massive hit with darts fans,” Jamie Hart, director of innovation and customer experience at William Hill, said.
The app is set to go head-to-head with a similar app released earlier this year by BetVictor, which received an update late last month in anticipation for the tournament.
