William Hill moves into top three in Oddschecker rankings
Bet365 maintains its dominance in the sports betting rankings, while Betfair tops the darts charts in December
William Hill moved into the top three of Oddschecker bet slip click rankings for December, as bet365 maintained its number one position.
Hills, with a market share of 10.5% for the month, jumped ahead of Paddy Power (10.04%) and Sky Bet (8.82%) which were placed fourth and fifth respectively.
Bet365 maintained top spot but saw its market share decrease slightly for the second consecutive market, down from 20.94% to 20.08%, while Betfair was again second with a share of 13.21%.
The remaining positions in the overall rankings were held by BetVictor (8.27%), Coral (6.29%), Ladbrokes (5.77%), Betfred (3.09%) and Betway (2.87%).
In the month that saw the PDC World Championship take place, Betfair topped the darts rankings with a share of 21.96%.
Sky Bet (11.66%) followed in second spot, bet365 (9.65%) in third place and William Hill (9.58%) in fourth, despite being main sponsor of the competition.
And for the conclusion of The X Factor, bet365 topped the rankings with a share of 19.69%.
Ladbrokes claimed its highest position of all the rankings with 16.21%, ahead of Coral which registered 15.73% for the month.
Despite its lofty positions in the sports betting charts, Betfair could only manage a share of 8.54% in the rankings for the popular ITV show.
