William Hill International recruits ex-Stars Group exec as new CTO
TSG’s former engineering chief Nedda Kaltcheva lands joint product and technology role with Hills in Europe
William Hill has recruited Nedda Kaltcheva as joint chief technology and chief product officer for its International business.
Kaltcheva boasts industry experience having previously worked as head of engineering for The Stars Group between July 2018 and February 2019.
Her most recent role was as European CTO for Silicon Valley-based oil and gas data company Maana.
“I am passionate about technology, gaming, diversity and innovation,” said Kaltcheva. “My mission is to make William Hill the tech team and environment of choice and the number one brand internationally.”
Kaltcheva started her new role on 15 June and will be based in Malta, reporting into Satty Bhens.
Bhens was appointed in October 2019 to lead the London-listed operator’s tech and product operations from New Jersey.
He said of her appointment: “Nedda has had a strong and deep career in engineering, and holds a degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota.
“I am very glad to welcome Nedda to the William Hill International team in Malta. With this new position closely connected to our international operation, we look to further strengthen our product and tech capabilities across our International, UK and US business areas,” he added.
