William Hill has unveiled a suite of responsible gambling material across social media as the operator raises awareness during Safer Gambling Week 2020.
The London-listed firm’s pinned tweet on Twitter includes a video of William Hill-sponsored celebrities urging consumers to gamble responsibly by setting limits for playing time and stakes.
The short is fronted by sports stars from Robbie Savage to AP McCoy and presenter personalities including Emma Jones and David Alorka.
Boxing afficionado Gareth A Davies says during the clip: “Safer Gambling Week may be the reminder to start the conversation about safer gambling with ourselves, friends and family.”

William Hill has also put its partnership with heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua to good use by getting the Londoner to star in a Safer Gambling Week promo vid.
Joshua sits beside a boxing ring and says: “Be prepared before you play and set deposit limits. Sometimes we all need a breather. Take a time out. Monitor your spend. Take control. Own your game. And gamble responsibly.”
Tottenham Hotspur duo Matt Doherty and Hugo Lloris recorded their own version of the video due to William Hill’s official betting partnership with the North London club.
Safer Gambling Week 2020 began on 19 November.
