William Hill will unveil at least two new mobile products at the launch of next weekâs Digital Shoreditch festival, which it is also sponsoring. Its âGet In The Raceâ app, which uses Google Cardboard to create a 3D horseracing VR experience on a smartphone, will be star of the show, but it will also show off an alpha launch of its re-engineered darts app. The apps were developed in the companyâs WH Labs Shoreditch hub.
Bingo and casino operator Stride Gaming said it will launch a new mobile platform for its Table Top Entertainment brands next month following its IPO on the London Stock Exchange where the firm hopes to raise £10m. While the operator already runs its own fully-responsive, mobile-optimised platform, it also acquired a secondary platform as part of its purchase of Table Top Entertainment in September which has yet to go mobile. But CEO Eitan Boyd told eGR Mobile Intelligence that a soft launch of a new Table Top mobile platform, which includes the brands Jackpot Cafe and Bingo Liner, is planned for June with all the Table Top brands migrated onto the fully-responsive platform by September.
Mr Green announced an 86% year-on-year rise in mobile revenues in Q1. âThe quick development of mobile usage is something that we are very much on top of, and whenever we are thinking of new products we are thinking mobile first,â Per Norman, Mr Greenâs CEO, said.
Ladbrokes finally began the rollout of its cash-out function on mobile. The bookmaker said the function had been launched âearlier than plannedâ and would form a key part of its mobile-first Mobenga offering which is due to go live on desktop in the summer. âWeâve reacted quickly in the first few months of the year to develop this and join the cash-out race,â Ladbrokes head of mobile Andrew Bagguley, said.
Belgian land-based operator Circus has launched a fully-responsive version of its casino and sportsbook platform, which was developed by platform supplier Gaming1 to meet growing mobile demand. The new mobile web platform from Gaming1 provides users with a homogenised experience regardless of device or operating system and allows for push notifications, as well as dynamic filtering to ease navigation.
