Wednesday round-up 28/01
This weekâs news round-up includes Sky Betting & Gamingâs mobile social casino release and app upgrades from Coral and BetVictor
Sky Betting & Gaming expanded into the social gaming space with the launch of a number of exclusive and partner mobile social slots games after partnering with OpenWager. The social slots, which are available via an app on iOS and Android feature 3D effects, quests and social interactions, were tested within selected markets before Christmas prior to a full launch last week. âWe believe itâs an interesting opportunity to combine experience from our existing products, such as Sky Vegas and most recently Sky Casino, with the specific features used in social games,â Sky head of social Bruce Bale said.
Coral Interactive upgraded its sports betting app to make a number of improvements to its live streaming options and quick links to specific betting markets were also added to the home page, while a number of bug and crash fixes were rolled out to the app. BetVictor also amended bug fixes to its sports and casino app while adding decimal odds for the first time.
Mobile software specialist Element Wave has released what it claims to be the gambling industryâs first mobile-dedicated CRM platform. The automated software uses in-app messages, push notifications and real-time analytics to improve mobile player engagement and filters players into different segments in order to target them with tailored campaigns. Post-campaign reports are also produced to determine which campaigns are most effective.
Mobile games provider Odobo has released a consumer-facing iOS app designed to showcase gaming content developed by studios participating in the Odobo Developer Program. Odobo Play allows customers to find games from a number of studios by searching for them before forwarding them onto operators including Unibet, Betfair, Coral Interactive and bet365 if they wish to play for real money, while a free play option has also been included.
EveryMatrix is to provide WayneCasino with a mobile casino platform as part of a wide-ranging platform supply deal brokered by the two companies. Malta-licenced WayneCasino previously lacked a mobile-optimised option and EveryMatrix chief executive Ebbe Groes said the deal was a great opportunity for the firm. âWeâre always excited to introduce new operators into our midst and weâre confident that this new agreement signed with WayneCasino will help both companies thrive,â Groes said.
