Wednesday round-up 01/10
This weekâs round-up includes Winner relaunching its Winner Bingo mobile app and Paddy Power Social gears up for a mobile launch
Playtech-run egaming brand Winner relaunched its Winner Bingo product on mobile last week after releasing a new version of its mobile app. The app is the first major upgrade to the firmâs mobile offering since its initial release earlier this year, and includes additional side games and a complete redesign over the previous version.
Paddy Power added a number of new features to its social sportsbetting product Paddy Power Social ahead of an expected mobile launch next month. The Facebook app, which allows customers to interact with their friends while placing bets, added a Power Points feature that acts as a loyalty scheme and a Bet Chat function, through which customers can discuss betting tips.
Both bet365 and Betway updated its iOS apps this week to make minor improvements. Betway improved loading speeds within the app and added several minor features and betting markets, while bet365 fixed several bugs that had appeared in its previous release. Sports betting affiliate Oddschecker also made changes to its iOS app, updating its splash screens to coincide with a new branding and marketing drive that launched last month.
Bitcoin operator Cloudbet has launched a new bitcoin mobile sportsbook on iOS, Android, Blackbery and Windows smartphones. The product features betting markets including 1×2, handicaps and money lines and Cloudbet head of marketing Dennis Laudrup said it had been designed to complement the second streaming experience. âOur development and design team has put a lot of work into making this truly the best mobile book out there, and weâre sure that customers will notice the difference,â he added.
The Games Company (TGC) launched its third mobile-optimised HTML5 slot game via Odoboâs gaming platform this week. Monster Mash follows previous games launched in June this year and has gone live with both bet365 and Gala Coral, with more operators set to launch the title in the coming weeks. âWe are pushing HTML5 to the limit and believe that it will be hard for players or operators to identify the difference between HTML5 and Flash,â Hans Winkelmann, co-founder at TGC, said.
