Betfred has launched what it claims is the first gambling app for Windows 8. The app is available on both the Windows and Windows phone stores.
Gala Coral has launched a tablet-focused bingo app for the UK market. The app is initially available only on iOS, but an Android launch is expected in the coming weeks. The app was developed with its software partner Playtech and is expected to be the first in a series of new bingo products from the two firms.
Betfair has updated its exchange betting iOS app to allow users to deposit directly from PayPal. The update which launched on Appleâs App Store today, follows on from the operator integrating the e-wallet payment solution to its iOS Sportbook app in October 2013. Paddy Power has added Cash Out functionality to its flagship sportsbook app just a few days after the launch of its new Messenger app as it begins to roll out a series of new mobile products. The cash out function allows users to sell their single bets back before the bet is settled and is currently only available on selected football WDW and outright markets. The update comes just days after the Irish operatorâs new personalisation focused Paddy Power Messengerâ app launched aimed at increasing personalisation of mobile betting with users using text commands to request odds or instantly place bets with Paddy Power.
PartyPoker has launched a real money app in New Jersey for both its poker and casino products. The poker app is available on all iOS devices and includes cash game poker, but not tournaments, while the confusingly named partypoker casino app offers a range of real-money casino games. PartyPoker is currently the largest poker operator in the newly regulated New Jersey market with player numbers similar to Sky Poker in the UK.
