Virtue Fusion is set to develop and launch a range of online bingo games based on Endemol’s highly successful gaming property Deal or No Deal.
The new themed games are part of a strategic agreement signed between the production company Endemol and the online bingo services provider Virtue Fusion, which has also secured the non-exclusive rights to produce side games based on Endemol’s Big Brother and Golden Balls properties.
Virtue Fusion will develop a Deal or No Deal bingo game combining elements of the TV show and traditional bingo games and roll it out on its network at the end of October. Licencees including Mecca, Paddy Power and Sky have already confirmed they will host the game, with more operators to be announced in due course.
Jurian Van Der Meer, head of products and brand exploitation at Endemol UK, told EGRmagazine.com: “The agreement with Virtue Fusion enables us to diversify our product range and reach into the bingo audience. The distribution and liquidity provided by Virtue Fusion were key in our decision to partner with them and we are very pleased with the way the game has been developed and integrated.”
The game will combine traditional bingo games and aspects of the Deal Or No Deal TV format, where those in the bingo room will advise players on whether to accept the deal on offer or not.
Van Der Meer added: “We are looking forward to maximising the exclusive nature of the agreement on the bingo platform and the addition of the Big Brother and Golden Balls side games has enabled us to produce a brand new game and offer even more of an entertainment-led product offering.”
Jurian Van Der Meer is speaking at EGR Live, eGaming Review‘s free two-day event for operators in November.
