Unibet.fr joins iPoker
Operator's French-facing poker offering had previously sat on Ongame.fr network.
Unibet has moved its dot.fr poker offering from Ongame to iPoker, the Swedish-listed operator has confirmed.
It follows Betclic Everest in migrating to the Playtech-owned network, whose other skins include TurboPoker.fr and JOA-Online.fr.
The move comes after the migration of bwin’s dot.com poker offering to the PartyPoker platform from in December, following Amaya Gaming’s acquisition of the Ongame network, with bwin’s dot.fr poker room set to follow suit in the near future. Bwin is one of two remaining rooms on Ongame.fr, along with EuroPoker.fr.
iPoker.fr ranks third for cash-game traffic in the French market, behind Winamax and PokerStars, despite former licensees Chilipoker and TitanPoker discontinuing their respective dot.fr poker offerings last year.
Unibet’s main dot.com offering remains on the Microgaming network, alongside the likes of Ladbrokes and Stan James, while it continues to use Ongame in Italy.
