Aspire Global has announced its withdrawal from the Australian market due to the recent vote for an amendment to the Interactive Gambling Amendment Bill 2016.
In Q2 2017 the Australian market accounted for 8% of the company’s total revenue.
“We regret having to leave a market, however, we expect to compensate for the lost business through intensified efforts in other regions.
“Consequently, we don’t expect this to affect our long-term financial targets,” Aspire CEO Tsachi Maimon said.
Habanero has signed a deal with content aggregator The Gaming Platform (TGP) to offer its full product portfolio to all TGP’s partner operators.
Slot games including Fire Rooster, Bird of Thunder, and Panda Panda will soon go live on TGP, alongside the supplier’s new title, The Dead Escape.
Daniel Long, head of sales at Habanero, said: “This latest deal further expands our reach and the number of operators who can access our games. It also demonstrates the broad appeal of our engaging games to operators in all territories.”
Charles Hwang, CEO of TGP Asia, added: “We’re extremely excited about the prospect of offering Habanero’s HTML5 games to our partners.
“They’ve built up a reputation for developing high quality, immersive games, and we’re sure they will become a hit with our customers.”
Playtech subsidiary Quickspin has unveiled its newest slots offering Fairy Gate. The game has been developed in HTML5, and offers modern graphics and immersive sound across desktop and mobile.
The slot also features Quickspin’s innovative Achievements Engine, designed to offer players a more entertaining experience.
Quickspin CEO Daniel Lindberg said: “Fairy Gate is brought to life with stunning graphics, with particular care taken on the design of the fairy orbs which light up the screen.
“We’re confident players will enjoy this enchanting adventure which features multiple bonus levels and free spins.”
EvenBet Gaming has revealed its latest daily fantasy sports product, offering players a range of unique features including a modern UI and open APIs for integration.

EvenBet DFS offers all major soccer and cricket leagues and matches out of the box, and operators can also plug in data from external providers to offer other sports or events, including esports.
Operators are also able to integrate a range of payment processors, depending on licensing.
EvenBet Gaming CEO Dmitry Starostenkov said: “Daily fantasy sports is a unique vertical that can offer so much to operators, but only if delivered in an innovative fashion.
“The thinking behind EvenBet Daily Fantasy Sports was to create a full turnkey DFS product that raises the bar in terms of user engagement.
“The early feedback we have received from players and operators alike has been fantastic.
“We firmly believe that DFS has an important role to play in the modern gaming ecosystem, and we will continue to develop our product to remain at the head of the field.”
Pragmatic Play has been awarded licenses to offer its slots portfolio to operators in both Spain and Portugal.
The approvals are the latest step in Pragmatic Play’s drive for international growth, having gone live in Denmark with Vera&John in August.
Yossi Barzely, head of business development, said: “We’re very proud to have been given the green light in Spain and Portugal as we look to expand worldwide.
“It represents another breakthrough for Pragmatic Play and highlights our commitment to our European expansion in regulated markets.
“We’re certain that our existing suite of games and forthcoming titles will prove to be just as popular with players in both countries as they have been elsewhere.”
The company was also granted permission to distribute content in the long-established UK market in April and the Bahamas in May.
In other news, the supplier has also launched its latest product offering called Caishen’s Gold. The Asian themed 3×5 reel slot offers colourful visuals and an engaging soundtrack.
