Former Swedish monopoly operator Svenska Spel has appointed Kajsa Nylander as its new sustainability manager, effective from 27 January.
Nylander replaces current sustainability manager Scarlett Roa, who will leave in December after a year in the role.
In her new role, Nylander will be responsible for Svenska Spel’s work in sustainability and responsible gambling and will report to current Svenska Spel director of communications Joakim Mörnefält.
Speaking about her new position, Kajsa Nylander said the Swedish gambling industry was going through a period of change with new gaming legislation, making it an “exciting time” to enter the industry.
“Svenska Spel already has solid sustainability work, and I look forward to being able to participate and continue to develop our work on gaming responsibility and the Group’s other strategic sustainability issues,” Nylander added.
