Strong first-quarter revenue growth for NetPlay TV
Operator disposes of UK bingo business for £375,000.
NetPlay TV recorded a 20% year-on-year increase in average daily revenues in the first quarter of 2012, the operator revealed in its trading update for the three months ended 31 March.
Revenues also rose 9% compared to Q4 2011, while new depositing casino players and active depositing casino players rose 70% and 44% year-on-year respectively.
It has also disposed of its UK bingo offering for a sum of £375,000, in a move which the operator describes as consistent with “The Company’s strategy of focussing in the core live TV casino offering.”
The fourth quarter had seen the company launch an iPad version of its Supercasino product, while it intends to launch further smartphone and tablet apps this year.
Last October saw NetPlay TV sign a new five-year deal with UK broadcaster Channel 5 for the Supercasino brand.
