Stats Perform recruits new CPO
Nancy Hensley to join sports data and technology firm from IBM
Stats Perform has appointed Nancy Hensley as its new chief product and marketing officer.
Hensley will oversee the supplier’s teams that focus on innovation across technology and sportsbook.
She joins Stats Perform from her role as chief digital officer at IBM, where she dealt with AI, big data and cloud strategy.
Hensley held several positions at IBM since joining in 1999, including director of strategy and growth for IBM Hybrid Cloud and director of offering management.
Prior to that, Hensley served as a senior project manager for McDonald’s, focusing on operations technology.
Speaking on her assumption of the role, Hensley noted that she was joining a team with “some of the best talent” in the industry.
She said: “I am thrilled to be joining an impressive team that is driving the sports tech industry forward with leading technology and software platforms.
“I look forward to leveraging the unique combination of our data, along with some of the best talent in sports data science to build some exceptional customer products and experiences.”
Stats Perform CEO Carl Mergele suggested Hensley’s background in data and AI made her an “ideal fit” for the role.
He added: “Nancy has a proven track record building and growing advanced product portfolios and go-to-market strategies focused on creating a positive customer experience.”
