Stars mobile app adds iPad 3 support
Latest update also allows players to request hand histories.
PokerStars’ mobile app is now compatible with iPad 3 devices following the operator’s latest update to the product.
Other new features to be added include the ability to request hand histories from within the mobile client and what the operator describes as “Improved filters for micro-stakes games”. Relevant elements of the update are available to users of Apple and Android devices in the UK and Italy.
PokerStars first released its real-money iPhone poker app to the Italian market in January before introducing a UK version the following month.
Android versions of both the Italian-facing and British-facing apps have since been released, while eGaming Review sources revealed earlier this month that a French version is just “weeks away”.
The real-money mobile poker apps followed the launch of PokerStars TV and the PokerStars Clock for Apple devices.
Meanwhile PokerStars has named Massimiliano Martinez as its newest sponsored pro. The Italian was previously a contestant on the PokerStars-sponsored television show The Big Game.
