Sportito seals QPR partnership renewal
DFS operator keen to work on “new digital ideas” with West London club next season
Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) operator Sportito has renewed its partnership with Championship club Queens Park Rangers ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
The DFS operator launched in the UK in 2016 and enjoyed a successful partnership with the London club last season so has signed on for another year.
Sportito is hoping to reach fans through QPR’s digital channels, giving the fantasy platform access to more than 1 million of the club’s social media followers.
Riccardo Mittiga, CEO of Sportito, said: “QPR is a great team and splendid partner to us.
“We are delighted to continue our relationship with them for this season. We see this as a mutual commitment to continue to grow together for a long time,” he added.
Sportito was also the official partner of QPR’s West London rivals Fulham last season.
QPR’s commercial director, Euan Inglis, said of the partnership: “We are delighted to renew our agreement with Sportito.
“We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Sportito team last season and the renewal allows us to continue to build on previous activations, as well as some new digital ideas.”
