Spiffbet CFO steps down after two years in role
Sweden-based casino and games operator says it has begun the process to find a replacement
Spiffbet has announced that CFO Jens Bruno will be leaving the company in April following two years in the role. The decision to depart was at Bruno’s own request to take up a similar role at another unnamed company. Bruno’s departure comes after a significant two-year period of growth for the online casino and gaming operator which has stated that the search for a replacement has begun immediately. In August 2020 Spiffbet acquired Goliath Casino before snapping up Sir Jackpot and Live Lounge in January 2021. In February, the Metal Casino owner secured the acquisition of Malta-based marketing firm ManiSol Gaming. Posting on LinkedIn, Bruno said: “After two fantastic years at Spiffbet, I have decided to take on a new challenge. I am grateful for the opportunity to take part in Spiffbet’s transformation and in one of the fastest M&A-sprees in igaming history!” Henrik Svensson, CEO of Spiffbet, said: “It has been a real pleasure to work with Jens. During his time at Spiffbet, he has contributed to the development of both the finance function and the company’s operations in a broader perspective. I want to thank him for his solid efforts and really wish him all the best in his future role.”
