Sky Betting & Gaming unveils major Sky Casino revamp
Operator’s live casino-focused brand also launches “industry-first” digital roulette experience
Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has unveiled a major overhaul of its Playtech-powered Sky Casino brand, featuring an “industry-first” digital live roulette experience.
The live casino-focused brand was revamped in recent weeks across both mobile and desktop, ahead of a new marketing campaign to support the launch, and includes an improved customer experience, product enhancements and improved gameplay.
In addition, the Leeds-based operator has launched a new digital live roulette wheel featuring a light tracker that tracks the ball’s movement, while studio croupiers also have new uniforms to match the new look and feel of the site.
“We have been fully focused on really getting under the surface of what our customers need and expect from an online casino and that is reflected in the product,” Neil Martin, Sky Casino marketing manager, told EGR Intel.
He added: “We have worked hard with the Playtech team to develop the platform and take it to a new level.”
“The industry-first roulette wheel provides us added product differentiation within the SB&G suite of brand and product offerings and also further differentiates us from the wider marketplace.”
SB&G is also launching a new digitally-led marketing campaign to coincide with the Sky Casino revamp, which will include a greater presence on social media and other digital channels.
“This gives us a great advantage and allows us to talk to the right players, at the right time, and in places where they want to hear from us,” Martin added.
“It’s not to say there won’t be full TV coverage in the future but right now we feel that this is where we need to be.”
Playtech-powered Sky Casino went live in 2014 and currently features live casino games, as well as various slots, video poker and table games.
