Sky Bet mobile customers up by a third
Operator records 29% increase in mobile customers as MD Richard Flint praises âcontinued successâ on the platform
Sky Betting and Gamingâs mobile customer base grew by almost a third in the year ended 30 June 2014 as managing director Richard Flint praised the operatorâs âcontinued successâ in the channel.
Mobile customers increased by 29% throughout the year, contributing to an 18% increase in total revenues to £183m.
Speaking to sister publication eGaming Review Flint said the growth in numbers had helped boost all of the operatorâs verticals and mobile products, including those of Sky Bet, Vegas, Poker and Bingo.
âAll four verticals have shown growth in the last half of the year which was largely due to our continued success in mobile both from a product and marketing perspective,â he said.
The operator has made a number of additions to its mobile portfolio this year, releasing an iPad-optimised app for its bingo product while also trialling live streaming of UK Football League fixtures in its sports betting app.
