Sheriff Gaming launches first mobile slots
Release of HTML5 3D slots marks operator's push into mobile gaming market
Sheriff Gaming has released its first mobile slots, with the Amsterdam Masterplan and Spartania now available across all smartphones and tablets.
Released under the supplier’s SMART mobile brand, the titles have been reconfigured to HTML5 format to make them available across iOS and Apple devices.
The firm’s spokesman Eric Roskamp described the launch as “a landmark opportunity” and said Sheriff was aiming to launch up to 15 slots and 5 table games in more in more than 20 languages.
“This announcement undoubtedly reiterates Sheriff Gaming’s reputation as the gaming industry’s leading light in 3D mobile game development,” Roskamp said.
The launch follows last week’s release of two online slots, Alawin and Extreme, with the company still to find out whether it is connected to a money laundering case brought against founder Stijn Flapper.
A series of raids were carried out on properties owned by Flapper and fellow entrepreneurs Michel Gregoire and Maurice Gregoire in a joint operation by the Dutch Public Prosecutor, Gambling Authority and Tax Authority late last month.
These were connected to a money laundering operation, where telecommunications firm Teletick BV had allegedly been used to process funds raised from the sale of soft drugs and illegal gambling with Bubble Group “ Sheriff’s parent company “ also rumoured to be involved.
However, the supplier said it is confident it will be “fully discharged” of all allegations, and a spokesman told eGR last week that the Public Prosecutor was yet to supply any evidence connecting Bubble Group to the crimes.
