Revenues soar at Gaming Realms
Operator releases new Slingo product on proprietary platform as Q3 revenues increase 48% sequentially
Gaming Realms today reported a 48% sequential rise in Q3 revenues as the AIM-listed operator also announced the launch of its new Slingo.com website.
In a trading update the London-based firm revealed revenues increased from £4.2m in Q2 to £6.2m last quarter, with revenues from its real-money business up 18% quarter-on-quarter to £2.8m.
The operator’s new Slingo.com product is now live on its proprietary gaming platform following the success of the Slingo Riches game on its Spin Genie and Pocket Fruity online casino website.
“This new gambling site will build on the success of the Slingo Riches game which has been operating on our platform since April 2015,” Gaming Realms CEO, Patrick Southon, said.
“We believe that this new product, targeted at our key mobile-based demographic, will enable us to continue our revenue and player growth into 2016 and beyond,” he added.
According to today’s results, Slingo Riches accounted for 16% of GGR last quarter, while the operator’s free-to-play Slingo mobile apps also performed strongly.
In July Gaming Realms acquired the Slingo brand and a number of other assets for US$18m (£11.8m) from RealNetworks as part of its push into North America and the social casino sector.
A new faster version of the product – Slingo Extreme – is also now available as a side-game on SpinGenie.com.
