Rank selects Kambi for sportsbook launch
Multi-channel sportsbook will launch in summer 2016, Rank also agrees deal with Microgaming for online poker product
Rank Group has selected Kambi as its sportsbook supplier with a planned launch for its Grosvenor Casino brand this coming summer, the operator announced this morning.
The deal will see Stockholm-listed Kambi integrated with the Bede Gaming Management Platform, offering a new sportsbook product to Grosvenor’s 1.7 million UK customer base on both desktop and mobile.
“We believe that the power of the Kambi Sportsbook, combined with the capability of the Bede Gaming Management system, will allow us to provide a truly exceptional and market leading digital proposition to our customer base, no matter whether they are within our casinos or simply enjoying playing from home,” Adam Joseph, digital operations director of Grosvenor Casinos, said.
“The experience will be consistent and compelling and we are excited by the tools that Kambi will empower us with,” Joseph added.
Rank Group also revealed this morning it had signed a deal with Microgaming in order to add a poker product to its portfolio, which is due to go live later this year.
The multi-channel sportsbook agreement marks Kambi’s second major deal in as many weeks after the supplier was selected by casino operator LeoVegas.
