Harris will join the London-listed casino and bingo operator with effect from 1 May 2022 and will also assume a directorial role on the firm’s board of directors. A veteran of the corporate finance sector, Harris is currently CFO of London-headquartered estate agency Foxtons Group, holding the post since June 2019. Speaking about his new role, Harris said: “I am delighted to be joining Rank at this exciting time in the group’s journey. “I have enjoyed meeting various members of the team and look forward to working closely with them, John and the board to deliver the group’s strategy,” he added. Harris replaces Rank Group CFO Bill Floydd who joined Rank in November 2018 and will officially exit Rank Group on 31 December. In the interim period, the group CFO role will be undertaken by Rank Group’s director of group finance Simon Hay, who will continue the role until Harris joins in May. Rank Group CEO John O’Reilly welcomed the appointment of Harris as CFO highlighting his financial credentials. “His extensive experience across a number of senior financial and operational roles will be invaluable as we continue to deliver the next phase of Rank’s transformation plan. I look forward to welcoming Richard into the Group in 2022,” O’Reilly added.
