Raketech onboards managing directors for US and Malta
Industry heavyweights Ian Hills and Danielle Parsons linkup with affiliate to oversee jurisdictions
Raketech has bolstered its senior management team with the appointment of two new managing directors for its Malta and US operations. The affiliate has onboarded Ian Hills and Danielle Parsons to lead in Malta and the US respectively, with the pair bringing a wealth of industry experience to their new positions. Hills most recently served as Blexr general manager for Malta, having previously worked as a financial controller for both Mansa Gaming and Mr Green. Parsons joins Raketech after an 18-month stint with GAN as the company’s senior director of product partnerships in Chicago. Parsons also had a brief stint as USA Sports Gaming’s interim chief technology officer in 2020, as well as spending time with both Aristocrat and Joingo. In their new roles, Hills and Parsons will manage operations in each jurisdiction as the affiliate looks to continue to make gains in the States while solidifying its presence in Europe. Posting on LinkedIn, Raketech said: “Today we are proud to announce two new key additions. “Ian Hills and Danielle Parsons will take the role of managing director for Malta and the US respectively. Combined, they bring more than 25 years of industry experience and have worked for some of the biggest names in online gambling. “With Ian and Danielle, we continue to strengthen our strategy to accelerate further growth and pave the way for more success. Welcome to Raketech.” Speaking to EGR, Raketech CEO Oskar Mühlbach said: “Danielle comes from a solid background in US digital, igaming, and sports betting markets. “The American market is expected to grow significantly over the next few years, and to ensure our consumer assets and commercial offerings keep to the same high standards as the rest of the world, we are investing into an local American organisation which Danielle will lead. “As MD Raketech Malta, Ian is responsible for all commercial and operational processes originating from our Maltese office. This is a relatively mature organisation compared to the US equivalence where Ian’s skills within controlling, management, efficiency, and optimisation is a perfect fit,” he added. In November 2021, Raketech acquired US-facing tipster affiliate ATS Consultants in a $15.5m deal while the group also posted a 30.4% uptick in year-on-year revenue for Q3.
