Quickspin targets 2015 US market entry
Stockholm-based slots supplier in talks with a number of potential partners as the company also plots further UK expansion
Quickspin is plotting an entry into the US online gambling market with the Swedish game studio in talks with potential partners in the States, eGaming Review has learned.
Chief executive Daniel Lindberg told eGR the slots supplier was encouraged by the discussions so far and that he was confident the company would enter the market by 2015.
“We’ve made some good progress so far despite it being a tricky market to enter and as a smaller company we need to partner with a company with an established presence and knows the ins and outs of the market,” he said.
“We are in talks with a few companies and I am hopeful that we will be able to have a route into the US within the next six to 12 months,” Lindberg added.
Quickspin is also looking to increase its presence in the UK egaming market and is preparing to announce two deals with major operators within the next few weeks.
“We identified a list of which operators we would like to work with and we are over halfway there,” Lindberg said.
Quickspin recently signed a deal with UK bookmaker Ladbrokes to launch its full suite of slots games under its Ladbrokes Vegas tab.
Earlier this week the Stockholm-based firm won two gongs at the eGR B2B Awards for social gaming supplier and mobile gaming software of the year.
