Quickspin makes gamification push with new Achievements Engine
Playtech-owned slots developer aims to boost customer engagement and value with its new in-game tool
Slots developer Quickspin has announced the launch of its new Achievements Engine, the Playtech-owned firm’s latest gamification tool designed to increase customer engagement and value.
The Achievements Engine utilises six unique game events that take place in all Quickspin slots and offers players with tokens for achievements completed over four levels.
Customers can use the tokens to trigger the game’s bonus feature, such as free spins and re-spins, and track their progress throughout the game.
“Gamification is a hot topic right now, and here at Quickspin we believe we have delivered a perfect version of it with our Achievements Engine,” Quickspin CEO Daniel Lindberg, said.
“By giving back players part of their expected losses via Quickspin tokens, we can add huge value to their experience,” he added. “It is an effective tool for driving player engagement, too.”
The Stockholm-based supplier’s Achievements Engine first went live with the company’s 4×5, 40-line slot Sakura Fortune.
Quickspin is now a subsidiary of Playtech following its acquisition by the London-listed supplier last year as part of a €50m deal.
