Punters.com.au crowned Affiliate of the Year at EGR Australia Awards

Operator of the Year Sportsbet and CrownBet also take home a number of marketing awards

Punters.com.au was today crowned Affiliate of the Year at the EGR Australia Awards, a ceremony which also saw CrownBet win the gong for Marketing Campaign of the Year.

Now in its third year, the prestigious EGR Australia Awards celebrates excellence in the Australian online wagering industry and more than 150 industry professionals gathered together for a night of glitz and glamour at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney.

The awards, which recognise the achievements of both B2C operators and service providers over the past 12 months, was this year dominated by Sportsbet, which picked up four awards after it also won the Best Social Marketing Operator, Affiliate Program and Mobile Sports Product categories.

Winning the headline Operator of the Year Award meant Sportsbet had retained the crown for a second year in succession, with judges having lauded the bookmaker’s ability to achieve strong growth from an already impressive market leading position.
