Poll: Which vertical is best suited to Facebook RMG?
With the Paddy Power In-Play! sportsbetting app due to launch in the coming weeks, which vertical will benefit the most from a Facebook presence?
Paddy Power’s announcement that it is to become the first operator to launch a real-money sportsbetting offering on Facebook has posed the question, which vertical will outperform all others on the social network?
The Paddy Power In-Play! app, developed in-house by the company, is due to beta-launch in the coming weeks and will look to capitalise on the popularity of sportsbetting in the UK. It remains to be seen however whether or not this popularity will translate to success on the platform with its differing audiences.

Bingo was the first vertical to have an RMG presence on Facebook after Gamesys launched Bingo Friendzy in August last year following months of discussions. With its core audience perhaps more inclined to use Facebook more frequently, could bingo exploit that advantage and topple the other verticals?

Various poker products have enjoyed huge success on the platform, with Zynga arguably the best placed for an RMG launch with the company boasting the most popular free-to-play version of the game on Facebook.
