PokerStars debuts slots in Italy
Operator grows casino offering with slots games developed by the likes of Leander Games and Quickspin
PokerStars has bolstered its Italy-facing online casino offering with the launch of a wide range of slots titles.
The content has been developed by PokerStars’ parent company Amaya Gaming as well as Leander Games and Quickspin, and includes titles such as Supernova, Ali Baba, Dragon Slot, Mandarin Fortune, and Treasure Island.
PokerStars president of Southern Europe, Gino Appiotti, said the addition of slots means the operator now offers “an increasingly comprehensive product offering” for its players.
“These new casino games will be fun and complement poker, which remains the core part of our business,” he added.
The new slots games will be available on the PS7 client, with more slots games and additional products due to be launched in the coming months.
The launch comes just weeks after PokerStars was among a raft of Spanish operators to be awarded a slots licence from the country’s gaming regulator.
PokerStars’ transformation into a multi-vertical operator began shortly after it was acquired by Amaya Gaming last year, with the launch of casino followed by a sportsbook offering, which has yet to be released in Italy, earlier this year.
