Poker770 latest product to come under NetBet brand
Poker room follows Casino770 in joining NetBet Group and joins top tier of Playtech's iPoker network
Online poker room Poker770 has joined the NetBet Group and rebranded its offering as NetBet Poker after 12 years as a standalone brand.
NetBet Poker will trade under the NetBet Group’s Malta licence rather than Poker770’s Curacao licence and has joined iPoker’s top tier of operators alongside the likes of Ladbrokes, Titan Poker and bet365.
“We are aware that players want the choice and security a united platform offers them and so are delighted to be able to make this announcement,” a NetBet spokesperson said.
NetBet said the decision was taken in order to offer its customers a “wider range of products and games” with customers now able to access NetBet’s casino and sportsbook products on the same platform.
Poker770 informed customers last week and completed its migration to the NetBet brand on 3 September.
A holding page now prompts customers to upgrade their poker clients, during which customers will have their usernames, balances and loyalty points transferred over to NetBet Poker’s software.
Poker770 becomes the latest 770-branded product to migrate over to the NetBet Group, following Casino770 and Bet770, which joined the NetBet Group in August last year prior to launching a marketing drive on London Buses in the build-up to this summer’s FIFA World Cup.
All 770-branded products were previously managed by Curacao-based Mandarin Gaming prior to transferring over to NetBet apart from Bingo770, which closed in August 2013.
