PointsBet unveils new content hub PointsBet+ within its app
Sports betting operator has launched a content hub PointsBet+ which includes clips on betting events with individualized feeds
PointsBet has launched a content hub called PointsBet+ on its sports betting app as it looks to drive further customer engagement.
The platform will feature clips directly focused on specific sports betting.
The US sportsbook operator will use its new shows, such as The Straight Line with Ryan Leaf, to create new content that relates to the day’s sporting action.
The shows will be produced in a way to create short 20 to 25 second clips that speak to individual markets, which include spread wagers, same game parlays (bet builders) and player props.
The clips will then be available in the app to provide users with news, insights and analysis to help better inform bettors.
The platform will be updated daily and bring information on PointsBet’s proprietary bet type Points Betting.
Liam Roecklein, SVP of content at PointsBet USA, said: “Sports betting and content go hand-in-hand, and by delivering key information right within our app, we’re setting a new standard for the industry.
“Getting insights directly from sports figures like Ryan Leaf will be a gamechanger for bettors and help shape both how users wager on and consume sports.”
Leaf added: “It’s exciting to be able to deliver clips from The Straight Line directly to sports fans via the PointsBet app.”
Elsewhere, the sports betting operator and technology supplier 1/ST TECHNOLOGY have agreed a broad-based partnership which will see PointsBet launch a “one-of-a-kind” horseracing product in the US.
The deal focuses on pari-mutuel tote and advanced deposit wagering technologies.
