Playtech launches 'dual network' feature
Feature exclusive to Playtech licensees allows for customisable game features to be saved and accessed from anywhere in the world
Playtech has launched a ‘dual network’ for its live games offering, allowing its licensees’ customers to play tailored games across multiple platforms across the world.
The feature allows for players to customise their games to include cultural experiences or settings “ such as an Asian dealer following Asian customer services practices “ and to play them anywhere in the world.
The egaming software supplier has announced the feature will be exclusive to its licensees and will be available on its entire suite of live games.
Shimon Akad, vice-president of operations at Playtech, said the feature was developed in response to player needs. “We constantly aim to provide our operators with the newest technology and best offering in the market, we follow consumer behaviours and create products that provide our licensees with a strong competitive advantage, which allows them to expand their potential market,” Akad said.
“I am certain this feature will be more and more important amongst players and operators in no time.”
The new feature follows Playtech linking land-based betting shops with online customer accounts in July, allowing a player to start a casino game on a fixed-odds betting terminal in-store and continue playing through their mobile device.
UK sportsbook operator Coral was the first operator to receive the new system, with Playtech to roll the service out to other licensees a later date.
